how to create a dashboard with issue history?

Hi all,

My business team needs a view/dashboard with all impactful/critical milestones and  historical progress on those milestones. I can use JIRA along with confluence as well.

Currently we are tracking all these key milestones as stories under our main epic. Is there a way if we can create a dashboard/view importing all histories from those stories (Provided the history is well maintained with changes in dates & comments being updated)? I am on the path of exploration and please help if you have created something lie this before or any other suggestions

Hi @Suman Boro 

I can suggest two solutions for tracking history, including dates and changes on Jira dashboard.

1. Activity Stream is a built-in Jira gadget where you can use some filters and see changes made to the issues in your project. 

2. Activities gadget by Issue History for Jira app developed by my team. Here, you can use more flexible filters. For example, you can select any custom field and see its changes within the scope of issues you are interested in.

You can try these gadgets or provide more details so we can suggest what will work better.

Can you explain what you mean by histories?  Are you trying to track changes to requirements, scope, etc?
