What training is available for setting up object types, objects and attributes?
Also
- understanding when to use attribute type = object?
- business Insight capabilities up to an advance level?
- using IQL and how it differs from other Jira Query languages.
I'd recommend reading the Asset Management Handbook Atlassian released in January.
It has a good demonstration throughout on how to achieve and explain each setting.
I found these two documentations to be the most helpful for getting my head around AQL (previously IQL)

Suzi - you have been very helpful. Let me ask you this as I am trying to learn all this by reading. I feel like I need to find an Atlassian expert that can review my schema and confirm relationships, references, etc. I also need someone to review my AQL/IQL as I am trying to show data from my schema from multiple objects (3 or more). Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Hi Sandy,
I totally understand how you feel. I was in the same position 6 months ago. As far as I am aware there is no add-on to validate what AQL will return before you use it unfortunately.
Personally for myself, I setup a test environment before we setup our real environment. It was a lot of trial and error, particularly with the csv upload and object AQL mapping, but it was great for learning and figuring my way around.
The community is good too. I respond to a fair few Assets questions that pop up.
