Unable to add a specific user as customer

I am unable to add some specific customers to the service desk. The user has an active JIRA account and belongs to the same domain. When I add it gets added and by refreshing it goes away. The user gets the error "No Access!! You don't have permission to view this portal"

Are the users in question listed in the Customer-users role on the desired JIRA project? Check project administration / roles section

Perhaps, уou didn't grant access to Service Desk project in his Jira account

Screenshot 2019-09-25 at 12.22.37 PM.pngAll the other users in that project are able to access the service desk portal. The user is getting this error.

customer.PNGIt shows the customer added here but goes away after refreshing the page. And to the user it gives the same permission error.
