Tried to add the Insight/Assets plugin and it took down Jira

I downloaded the Assets file from the Atlassian Marketplace, uploaded/installed it in to my pre-production area and then enabled it. Jira said it had an error and then it kicked me out and gave me "Internal Server Error Error reference: 235de85e-70f6-4b30-9c01-66352aa405ef"

Is there a way to roll my Jira back or disable/remove the plugin?

Welcome to the community.  What version of on-prems JSM are you running?  Are you on Data Center or Server?

It is because Assets is already been part of component with with JSM 4.14 Data Center.

Server - New server license sales have ended as of February 2, 2021 (including the Insight - Asset Management Server app) and support for existing licenses will end on February 15, 2024 PT. As such, the Insight app/capabilities will not be included in Jira Service Management Server. However, users with an existing license of the app version of Insight can continue to renew and use it until its end of life on February 15, 2024 PT. At that time, we recommend considering Jira Service Management Cloud or Data Center.

Data Center - Starting February 2, 2021, Insight - Asset Management will be integrated into Jira Service Management Data Center 4.15. Insight Discovery will be available to download for free from the Atlassian Marketplace. For customers using Jira Service Management 4.14 or earlier, the Insight - Asset Management app will be available for free from the Atlassian Marketplace.

You should be able to disable your manual installed add-on and then uninstall it without any problem just with another other add-ons.  However, you may want to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) for further assistance if you are not able to do so.
