Hello,
In our System we have several Issues that create 8-10 ish Sub Tasks. Everything is set up and working properly. The only issues is when the sub tasks get closed they get reported the same as a normal ticket.
Possible fix?: Changing the Sub task Project type to "same project as trigger" would this then not count it under reporting.
Thanks,
Justin
Hi @Justin Chave , welcome to the community.
What recording exactly are you referring to? Depending on your answer here you may be able to simply exclude the issue type of sub task. For example you can create a dashboard that shows progress on all tasks and stories but ignore all subtasks. Maybe you could share a screenshot of what you're referring to?
This is where we see all Tickets resolved. This is located under our Helpdesk Project -> Reports -> Team - Tickets Resolved. Each number is a different Helpdesk admin and their count (Names blurred out). Each subtask is counting as a value of 1. We are either wanting a way to filter out sub tasks or make them not count in this report.
Hope this helps better explain!

Can you click on the Edit link in upper right and change the underlying filter?

To your recent update, yes that is precisely how you address the issue.

Jack,
Yes I figured out a way to do it. When you edit each users report you can choose between all Standard issues, All Sub-Task Issues or our default set up was all Helpdesk items resolved. I applied the All Standard Issues filter and it counts all Resolved tickets with just the Parent ticket.
Short Answer: Edit the Series to Filter by All Standard Issue Types and it will not show Sub Tasks in the report.
