Should I choose the same port of Jira Software

Hi gentlemen,

I installed Jira Software on Linux successfully. During the installation, I selected port 8080.

Now, I'm installing Jira Service Desk on the same server, should I select the same port? or select other one? Please answer me quickly, I stopped my installation waiting for your answer.

Hi! How are you doing?

Jira Service Desk and Jira Software are applications that work above Jira Core.

If you have installed Jira Software, you can just add Jira Service Desk on top of that.

You need only to go to Applications section in the Cog icon and then Upload an application.

Bitbucket and Confluence are complete Atlassian products, they are not apps on top of Jira. They have to be installed the same way you installed Jira Software.
