How do I grant my user system-administrator access? I see this for “Jira Administrator ability to perform most administration functions ( EXCLUDING SMTP Config )
That’s why I believe I am not able to see this option to configure an outgoing SMTP for my Jira Service Desk for the Cloud.
Does anyone know how to give my-self permission here so I can get the SMTP Outgoing setup?
Victor got this to work, however I have something wired going on when I reply it says someone else name not mine not sure why? I am logged In as me on the console as well.
Donny
In JSD Cloud, there isn't a system admin.

Hi Victor thanks for the response. Then how do I setup my out going SMTP?
The issue I am having is I can send a request in via email it then gets converted to a ticket in the JSD, however whenever I try to respond to it or comment on it I never receive an email to my inbox.

Donny,
A reporter doesn't get email notification. That's the default set up.

My users in the company send a support request via email it creates a ticket for our IT Team and when a team member responds to the ticket the requestor does not get an email ? We are not giving our users access to the console everything is done via email.
Please explain? I thought and was told that when we respond in the console or comment then the person who sent the request in get our response.
