Service Desk Email Requests

Hallo everybody,

I have a question regarding some email concepts and I don't get the 'big picture':

 

- In my understanding I need to configure in general the Incoming Mail Handler. This enables Jira in general to process Mails

- When I want to use Email Requests, I have to configure this - the Incominb Mail Handler is a pre-condition for this to work. Correct?

- What is the email puller in this context? Is it just the job doing the pull action? Or do I have to configure anything here?

Hi,

Jira Service Desk uses a SEPARATE mail handler for retrieving emails. This is handling incoming emails from customers using the JSD project specific email address.
