I have two questions:
Question 1:
I'm trialling out Atlassian's Service Desk solution and one specific requirements we have is for our engineers to be able to send out an email to our customers outside of a ticket informing them of an upcoming maintenance programme or update.
How can this be achieved within ASD?
Question 2:
I've noticed that I can send emails through Jira under settings and navigating to send email.
How do I add on link the customers that I've set up in ASD to Jira so that I can send them an email?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately there isn't an 'email all customers' capability. I noted that there is a suggestion open w/ Atlassian for Server version but did not immediately see one for Cloud so I created JRACLOUD-70298. You can watch and vote for it.
Having said that the way to deal w/ it at this time is via a banner on the Portal. I realize this might not be ideal but it is what we have today.
