The advanced search is going to used with Advanced Roadmaps (formerly Portfolio) . I tried : issuekey in childIssuesOf("")
Can I get with on single advanced search both Parents and Children issues?

You cannot get both the initiative and the linked issues in one JQL, in order to do that you would need an app like JQL Search Extensions for Jira & reports,Enhanced Search (JQL & Subqueries) or Scriptrunner.
