Regarding subquery JQL in Issue navigator, dashboard and SLA related queries

Shejal Payer March 17, 2021

Hi All,

Please find the below queries  and I am using Jira Service Management 4.13.3 data center.

1) We want apply Subquery in JQL of issue navigator for report purpose.

2)We want to change the dashboards gadgets look & feel in Jira. example: we want to change the Pie chart color.

3) We want change the format of SLA time shows in the view screen of issue.

Example:- I have attached a SLA screenshot and our SLA timing is from 8 AM to 8 PM which is 12 hours. So in screenshot we have configured 3 days(36 hours) for Time to resolution but it is showing 2d 11h. So can we changed this because we want to show 3 days instead of 2d11h.

Please let us know the workaround for above scenarios.

Regards,

Ok, I'm a little stuck on this

  1. What do you mean by "sub query"?  Do you mean the clauses within a query, or something else?  What would you expect this to do for your users?
  2. Each gadget has its own code for the formatting of it.  If you want to configure them differently, then the gadget needs to have been coded to support that.  Re-using the mention of a pie chart, the built-in one does not have this code.  You'll need to find or write a version of the gadget that can do it
  3. The SLAs cannot be reconfigured in this way - they would become inaccurate because 3 days is not 2d11h
