Question regarding move option under more actions

Hi,

We are not able to see move option under more actions in jira for parent ticket.

It was available earlier but now somehow it disappeared.

However, it is seen under more actions for subtask issue types.

Please suggest what could be the reason for its disappearance from the parent tickets.

Please check your project's permission scheme to ensure the users are granted with the MOVE ISSUE permission.  If users are not granted with that specific permission, then the "MOVE" option will not be available in the More action dropdown.

Another thing for you to check is to see if the parent issue in question is not already closed.  By default, if an issue is closed, then no further editing can be performed unless you reopen it.

User is having move issue permission and issues are not in closed status.

Also subtask issues has move option unde more option.

Subtask issues also follow the same permission schemes which parent ticket follows

Can you take some screenshots?  One from your permission scheme on "Move Issue" permission; One from your parent issue's More dropdown: One from your subtask issue's More dropdown?

Your situation seems very odd.
