Hi
I have created Prometheus integration in the JSM. So I have api key for this instance of integration. I would like to sent alert from Alertmanager to the Jira.
Currently it is working with opsgenie alertmanager configuration but I want migrate directly to the official Jira config in the Alertmanager.

I see in official doc:

Configure the integration in Prometheus
To configure the integration in Prometheus, complete the following steps:
Download Alertmanager.
Configure Alertmanager. Find out how to configure Alertmanager.
Paste the API Key copied previously into the api_key: field of the script.
Enter values for Details, Teams, and Tags if needed.
Run Alertmanager.

But there is not any API KEY field in the jira_config section : https://prometheus.io/docs/alerting/latest/configuration/#jira_config

API KEY is in the section of Opsgenie (Attlasin bought  Opsgenie) and it is working

So what next
Should I stay with opsgenie configuration of prometheus alertmanager ?
Or where I can add API key in the jira_config section ?

Unfortunately, this is not clearly stated in the documentation.

Thanks a lot for help me.

@Vojtech Vavra

Welcome to the community.  Even though, I have not try out this functionality, but in the following reference page, you will get the API key when you add Prometheus integration...

To add a Prometheus integration in Jira Service Management, complete the following steps:

  1. Next to Operations in the sidebar, select More actions (), then General configuration.

  2. Select Integrations and then Add integration.

  3. Run a search and select “Prometheus”.

  4. On the next screen, enter a name for the integration.

  5. Optional: Select a team in Assignee team if you want a specific team to receive alerts from the integration.

  6. Select Continue.
The integration is saved at this point.

  7. Expand the Steps to configure the integration section and copy the API key.
You will use this key while configuring the integration in Prometheus later.

  8. Select Turn on integration.
The rules you create for the integration will work only if you turn on the integration.

Don't know if you have already performed those steps above.  Please advise.

Best, Joseph
