New JSM (Server) Project - can it be deleted from the portal?

Hi.  I've created a simple project that is to be used by internal agents only.  But, it has appeared on our customer portal and one of our customers has spotted it and used it :-0  Is there any way it can be deleted from the portal without impacting anything else?

Hi @Des Johnston 

  1. For a company-managed project

    Adjust the permission scheme of the project.
    Make sure no browse permissions are granted only granted to a group that contains internal users

    Remove the browse permission for Service Space Customer - Portal Access and the role Service Desk customer to be sure
  2. For a Team-managed project, set the access to Restricted and add a group with all internal users only

Hi Marc.  Our IT team have tried this and it's not resolved the issue :-(

Could it be that this only works on Cloud version?

AS you seem to be on Data Center, these steps should work

  • Adjust the permission scheme of the project.
    Make sure no browse permissions are granted only granted to a group that contains internal users
  • Remove the browse permission for Service Space Customer - Portal Access and the role Service Desk customer to be sure (naming might be different on DC)
