With the recent update the service desk customer no longer has the ability to reverse the order so most recent comments are on top. They used to be able to change this on their own. Because of this Older comments are on Top.
Downloading files from the tool has changed so that there are now multiple steps to downloading and there are different methods for the different types of files. The customer would like it returned to the previous version where all files were downloaded with a single step.
**To resolve sorting issue I have modified jira.issue.actions.order to Desc but still old comments are displaying on TOP. Our end customers are getting frustrated when they have big list of comments to scroll down and view the recent one in bottom.
**Is there any way we can switch back to Old Issue View screen ?

The new portal customer was released recently with many changes that would benefit the customer, one of them is the markdown editor similar that what we see for agents in service desk with more options to format the text.
We understand that the comment box at the bottom of the page and the order of the comments may be confusing to customers because the other portal was the opposite. With that said, we created a feature request suggesting the ability to change the order of the comments and to change the position of the comment box, since there is no option to disable the new portal:
