Hi,
Need assistance since I am not able to delete my Atlassian account. I've used it for bitbucket, and deleted all the workspaces, but in the licenses I can still see them and they keep renewing even after I deleted them.
I've already deleted the organization, and there are no active paid subscriptions.
Trying to delete my account I get the following:
You can't delete your account
Your account can't be deleted because:
I've been trying to open a ticket, but without success, so trying my luck here.
Thanks!
Ori
Hi @roniger ,
To delete just your Bitbucket user account, you'll need to follow the below steps:
This process takes 30 days to fully process, so you will need to wait out this period until Bitbucket is fully deleted.
Direct link: https://bitbucket.org/account/settings/
The delete account link in the BitBucket account, redirects me to the atlassian account preferences, where delete gives the original message I posted.

Dear @roniger ,
I have requested an Atlassian Support Engineer support. They will review the post and respond on this thread within 2 business days.

Hey @roniger ,
If we are talking about Bitbucket, you should be able to follow instructions stated here: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/delete-an-account/ to delete an account.
However, if you're stuck with particular step, you could also reach out to Billing and Licensing suppot https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing 👀
There should be an option to request removing or deactivating a product/app, so their team should be able to assist you.
Cheers, Tobi

The support link keeps sending me to the Atlassian support website, and there's no way to open a ticket.
There's no option to deactivate a free bitbucket workspace license, and it keeps renewing even days after the workspaces have been deleted.
I've followed the delete account links, tried everything I could find. It's close to impossible to get this done without any assistance from the team.

I could reach out to forum support and ask them for help. However, before doing that, what happens if you go to workspace settings > Plan details?
This should open Atlassian Billing and your Bitbucket subscription, where you (if you're billing admin) should be able to deactivate the subscription (even if it's a free one)
This should then follow the standard deactivation period and after that's gone, you should be able to proceed with account deletion.

Admin.atlassian.com loads a create organization screen:

@roniger, and https://admin.atlassian.com/billing/ throws the same thing?
Also, to circle back to https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing > when you select these options (I believe you can leave the URL field empty) and explain that you'd like to delete your account and remove subscriptions, does it let you submit the request (it should)?

Hi,
Yes, it loads the same create organization page. I even tried creating an organization, but no luck getting anywhere.
This is my admin account (there's no plan there)
The support sends me to this place:
And delete starts the cycle again:
This is my bitbucket (no workspaces):
So there's no way to deactivate.
Workspaces were deleted days ago, but still appear here without ability to cancel:
Clicking on each request support, there's no way to open a ticket, just a referral to more documentation:
