Need to create workflows

Hi,
1.I need  to create workflows as shown below and how to do that ?

Selected for Development
In progress
Lead Review
PM Review
Failed
QA
Ready to Deploy

2. Once i create Jira tickets its going to BACKLOG instead i want that jiras to be in "SELECTED FOR DEVELOPMENT"

The first thing to do this you need jira admin permission. if you have then 

Go to Admin --> Issues --> Workflow --> click on add workflow.

You need to create a new workflow and add the above status and transitions accordingly.

Once you have done with this create a Workflow scheme and then add this workflow to workflow scheme and associate with the appropriate issue type.

Associate the workflow scheme to the project on which you want to apply.

Hi @MohammedSalimyoonus,

There is a well-prepared documentation for workflows.

You first need to create the workflow with your own statuses. Than, assign it to the related issue type in project's workflow scheme.
