Why is the clone object functionality described in:https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/clone-an-object/ only availabele in Cloud version and not in Data Center version ?
It was deprciated since Insight version 8.4. Is there a valid reason for this?

It looks like it's being tracked as a bug - confirm it impacts your team via JSDSERVER-7372
It's available in Cloud, because Cloud and Server/DC are two separate products - they're not developed in parallel, and don't have the same features.
