Hi @jlee ,

in order to do tha, you should first associate remove your workflow from the current Workflow Scheme, it means that all associated issues will be transferred to another workflow.

After doing that, your active workflow will be automatically inactive.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Just as stated by @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_

Additional Note - You will need to be the Administrators role member of the project or Jira administrators to update your workflow scheme to switch the WF in used.  Please also ensure that the current WF scheme is not being shared with other projects, if you only want update the WF just for one specific project.  If the WF scheme is shared among projects, then you will need to create a new WF scheme first for the specific project and then switch the WF and apply the new WF scheme to the project in question.

If the current WF and the inactive WF have different WF statuses, then you will also need to determine the different WF statuses mapping.  It is because when you publish the WF or WF scheme, the system will ask you how you want to remap the existing statuses between the WFs.

Hope this helps.
