Mail Handlers incoming mail failed

Indy W

We use the incoming mail handler in the Jira to scan the gmail and automatically create the work item in the Jira.

However, we have the following error and failed to create the work item:

Ignoring already processed message to avoid duplicates messageId=<DU0P250MB062456C7788FF28B8257A5F3F7C2A@DU0P250MB0624.EURP250.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM> mailServerId=10004

Hi @Indy W , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post.

The error message is saying they have not created the tickets from the mail messages present in the mailbox as they were perceived as duplicates. Do you already have some tickets created from the same messages and you were trying to add comments?

Were the tickets being created and then the processing stopped working?

Please provide more context.

Best wishes

I run the testing once again
Now I get the error of "No messages were found in this mailbox. To properly test this handler, populate your mailbox with a few emails first and re-run the test."

We have emailed the testing email to the gmail inbox, and found that there are unread emails in the gmail inbox folder from 14 Nov up to today 17:27.

It seems that the automation is failed even I have the new email to the gmail inbox
