Hi,

It is not possible technically. Something should map user accounts between Atlassian and Microsoft, because for direct user messages the user should be known and the Microsoft Teams bot app should be able to open a direct chat with the user.

I guess you could use the REST API to create a chat

The user used need a Team account.
