We have a small kiosk outside our help desk area running on a Raspberry Pi that presents our Jira service desk login page to users who walk in. One of the thing that we've had problems with is users not logging out after creating an issue and successive users not realizing it and logging issues under the wrong name. Many of our users are not computer savvy and are easily frustrated and I'm looking for an easy way to automatically log users out of service desk after an issue has been created. I've tried various Chromium/Firefox add-ons to kill the browser after a period of inactivity but they aren't giving me what I need. I've briefly looked at ScriptRunner and Automation for Jira but haven't seen anything jump out at me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi!
If I were you I will use incoming email functionality.
If you don't need login functionality, just send email to mail relay.

Thanks for the advice. We actually already have the incoming email functionality implemented. Some users take advantage of that but most still log tickets manually via the kiosk near the help desk. We are located in a small ex-pat community and our help desk is directly adjacent to a small electronics storefront; so many users will come in to log ticket(s) at the same time they are picking up SD cards or printer cartridges, etc.
