Is it possible to let service desk portal users create a new version?
I am using this for users to report in which concrete version a bug appears. In service desk itself I can create new versions, but users of the portal can only select from already created versions.
Or am I using it wrong and you have better suggestions for me?

Customers can't create or add new values to fields. Actually is not only because they are customers, but the customer portal does not have this functionality that allows a user to add new values to a custom field, even if they have a license, this is possible only internally on the instance.
