Hi Jira Community.
We are deploying our Jira instance via Helm internally (DC version)
We had previously our service hosted externally but have moved it in-hause to assess for the Cloud migration.
When installing a Vanilla instance it seemed that Jira image came with JSM as well. So we did not think about it.
Since then we migrated the external service (essentially cloning the application data) and span up the jira instance.,
all has been working well. However, we see that when we deploy a new version if Jira the JSM is not updated and is instead stuck on the old version.
We see the following error:
Jira Service Management must be updated to version 10.3.16 to be compatible with the installed version of Jira Core
I can see in the application-data plugins dir that the old plugin is there. I have backed up the plugins to see if the new version of Service Management will deploy the required pluing but now the UI says:
Jira Service Management is licensed but not currently installed.
Any hints will be welcome.
Hi @Chris C
Welcome to the community.
JSM is a separate part of Jira.
If you install and update on Jira, you need to update JSM as well. Download the same version of JSM as Jira.
Or go in Jira (if you are Jira admin), to the Application menu in Settings, from version & licenses you can download and install JSM.
