We are about to move over to Jira Service Desk and go live but the behavior of the portal appears to have just changed.
I want the different projects to show in a specific order. Previously it was sorted alphabetically - so I added numbers to the project names to sort them how I wanted.
But it seems that now the projects are sorted by when the project was created (although it could be something else - I'm just not sure).
Is there any way to control the order of how projects are displayed to customers?
My strong preference is to be able to show these projects: https://d.pr/i/21q3Z1 in the # order but without using numbers to sort them.
Did something change overnight? Any way to sort them?
I wonder if this is an artifact of the new portal L&F which it appears you are using. I have not played w/ that yet. Can you switch back and see if it is alphabetical/chronological?
@Jack Brickey - good question. Let me see if I can revert the L&F and then see if it changes the sorting...

@Jack Brickey - it looks like I can get the order that I want (using the #s) using the old L&F. Great thinking!
BTW - based on a screenshot (it says "Popular service desks") from https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/blog/2018/06/coming-soon-meet-the-new-help-center I think the new L&F order might be sorting the projects by activity. That's a defensible position - but I would prefer to choose.

You are most welcome. I agree with the notion of being able to manually order/place.
