Jira Service Desk PDF / attachment viewer for instant print

Hello folks,

is there an option to integrate an online PDF or general attachment viewer if it's a word or other type of data so we can click the attachment, it opens in an online viewer and we can directly print it from there?

Otherwise we have to download every ticket attachment open it in Word or Adobe for example and then we can print it from inside our third party program.

Any Add-on, workaround or Jira SD setting - we already run ScriptRunner and JETI for example if it works with these?

the same problem for me. print preview opens as a copy with slide bars and prints many copies of the same document

Can you please let us know what is the version you are currently using? Indeed, a bug was opened about this behavior for versions before 7.0, however, it should already be solved from version after 7.0.

Additionally, I believe that if you right-click the attachment and select the option Print it would automatically print the document without needing to open it. Can you check?

It's SD Version 3.15.3 and Core Version 7.12.3.

No I can not right click onto a ticket attachment and print it, it just shows the usual Windows dialogue where I can open the link in a new tab or save target as...

And left click opens the usual download dialogue in Windows browsers

Having an integrated viewer for MS Office and PDF files to improve decision support would be a real time-saver.
