Hi,

We have upgraded our Jira Core,Software and Service Desk to the latest version.

We are now finding that email requests coming into a mailbox being picked up by the Email Puller, then gets processed by the email processor then it tries to input it into the database but it doesnt pick the latest ticket number or even if the ticket exists then it doesn't update the ticket.

I have reset all the email settings to no avail.

The ticket numbers are 80 behind the latest ticket.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Grant

Hm,

Service Desk uses a different mail processor for customer emails than for agent/Jira user email. Might this be the issue?

Hi @Hancock IT

E-mails not being processed can have lots of different causes.

Are all e-mails affected? Have you already taken a look into the incoming-mail.log file?

Which versions of Jira do you have installed? Are you using a mail handler app or the default mail handler?

BR,

Martin

Jira Core 8.8.0

Jira Software 8.8.0

JIRA service desk 4.8.0

All emails are efftected. They work working fine before the upgrade to the latest version.

Using the Mail handler app and adding an email requests email channel on the project.

There are no errors in the incoming-mail.log
