When viewing an issue of type "IT Help", I'm attempting to add a Custom Field I've created called "Subtype".  I'm doing this by clicking Admin -> Add Field, then typing in "Subtype".  The field is found and I click the "Edit Field" button, however, the screen hangs.  The following JavaScript error is thrown:

Hi Corey,

Sorry to hear about this problem.  I see that you are unable to add this custom field to this issue when you are in the queue view here.  I found that this is actually a documented bug in Service Desk that we are tracking over in JSDSERVER-6659

We have not yet seen many reports of this.  I know that 4.1.0 is affected.  But I tried to recreate this problem in the very latest version 4.6.0 and so far I have not been able to recreate this error.

In the meantime, I'd recommend that you try to view the issue directly, instead of using the queue view here.  That would mean that the URL would be something like http://jira.example.com/browse/TSDB-1

From that page, try to use the Admin -> Add field here as an alternative to add fields to these issue types.

I hope this helps.

Andy
