Hello guys,

I tried for more then 3 days to configure some 'request types' into a Service Desk project JIRA on premise but when I want to 'edit fields' I keep receiving the following error: Field does not belong to the Request Type.

If I want to edit existing requests I have no problem, everything is working. This issue is persisting only for the latest's created requests.

Thanks,
Raul

Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-

I tried to follow the mentioned steps by you but I didn't resolve anything..
Also I applied the following workaround:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/getting-the-error-field-does-not-belong-to-the-request-type-when-clicking-on-edit-fields-to-edit-a-service-desk-request-type-954256922.html

Do you have any ideeas regarding this issue?

Thanks a lot,
Raul

Have a look at the request type to issue type mapping, so you know what issue type the request is tied to.

Now look at that issue type - you will find the field that you're trying to edit does not exist for that issue type, either because of context or field configuration.  You'll need to get it re-added to that issue type.
