We have configured Email Approvals in Jira Service Desk for Purchase requests. So whenevr a Purchase request raised, an email is sent to approvers. Currently what is happening, whenever approver is clicking on Approve/Reject button in email, browser window is opening where user is asked to login to Jira Service Desk. Now approvers are expecting that on click of Approve/Reject Button an email window should be opened with default email client o their device & they will just click on Send (We have a system where this functionality is available & for them it is convenient).
Can someone help me here achieve this?
Have you considered using the “approve button” directly from within the email? Here is another thread on this - Approve-button-in-email. Note this isn’t available for Cloud but I see you are on server. Maybe you are already doing this?
