we use different fields for our agents Create screen and our customers Create screen. Our problem, when we remove the fields our agents don't need from the Create screen we also can't use them in our portal anylonger.
Is there a way to keep the 4 - 5 extra fields for our customers only on the portal Create a Service Request screen and hide them in our internal Jira Create screen?

We manage that by using the add-on:
Extension for JIra Service Desk
We have specific fields that we only want our customers to check off, so we use the field visibility portion to manage that.

there is a plugin on the marketplace that can hide fields: Field Security Plugin.
I recommend to evaluate it. It should work with JSD.
