Is it possible to have customers with group view of incidents?

Peter Edlund February 4, 2019

Hi,

We use Jira Service desk where our customers can log on to the portal to add incidents.

The problem is that for some customers there are several countries involved.
We would like some kind of organization where one or several customers can add incidents for a specific country.
User1 can create incidents for country1 and only see incidents for country1.
User2 and user 3 can create incidents for country2 and can see incidents for country2.

User 4 can view incidents for both countries.

The only way I have found is that all users in an organization can view all incidents and that is not optimal for us.

Hello,

You would need to use organizations.

You need to create two organizations: Country1 and Country2. Then you can include User1 and User 4 to Country 1 and User2, User3 and User4 into Country2.

You can read more about organizations here:

Of course, that's simple math.
I feel stupid now.

But one question about that one, if User4 would create an incident, then all users in both organizations would see it right?
