Last weekend we did the upgrade from

Jira Service Management 4.20.2 to 4.22.2
Jira Core 8.20.2 to 8.22.2
Insight version 9.1.3 to 9.1.11

After the upgrade we lost some objects it seems (or maybe some object connections.

E.g. in the past we had an object "WorkPlace" with "Laptops" under it. When I look now it does have the WorkPlace, but it doesn't have the related Laptops anymore.

When I search for ObjectType "Laptops" I can find all assets,

How can I restore the hierarchical structure again?

Hey @Johannes van Wijk and welcome to the community!

Perhaps a stupid question from my side, but have you tried an Insight Reindex?

i've noticed in the past that after an upgrade the index is re-created but perhaps that is a bit messed up. Since you can find the objects it could be related to that.

Also, make sure you don't have any specific roles assigned to the "Laptops" object type where you might not be able to see them.

edit: also when you mention "under them" are you talking about the hierarchical tree structure in the object types or relational as "a workplace has an attribute which links to the laptops"

Great! You mean the re-index then?
