dear all,

I am traying to configure the incoming email handler and doing the test I receive the following:

Cannot create issue due to invalid license: [Sorry, you can't create any issues right now, as you need to have access to a Jira application to be able to create issues. To gain application access you need to be a member of a group assigned to an application.]

any suggestions?

thank you.

bye

The email address you are sending the issues from is not associated with a valid Jira user who has access to create issues (or rather, from the message, the right to even use Jira!)

there are two places where we can configure the email:
- in the project (email requests)

- in the system admin (incoming email)

I am configuring in the systemadmin as there is also the option to filter for "catch email address"

That is the wrong one. The one you are trying to use is for Jira not JSD. Use the one in the JSD project settings.
