We have two different products that have different branding. We want to have two different JSD portals with different branding, but it seems that all of the JSD projects we define within Jira use the same portal. How can one make two different portals?
Hi Barbara, AFAIK the only way to do this is by having two separate instances of JSD. I can certainly see the value of being able to brand per "project" but that isn't possible at least in Cloud. If you are on server you might have a look at Ultimately Theming for JSD but unsure if it provides the ability
First you need to ask yourself if that is really what you want. Two instances means two completely separate applications to manage. Assuming so, you simply repeat what you have already done once. If you are on cloud you need to simply create a new cloud instance.

Looks like I can't add a second JSD instance to same Jira Cloud account. It seems that the only way to accomplish what I want is to have two different Jira accounts as well (which I definitely don't want to do).

precisely! and on cloud there aren't any theming options to look at unfortunately. one of the downsides of cloud but also can be a positive at times as addons can be challenging.

I also believe this is what is being referenced in JSDCLOUD-5879. It's always befuddled me why the customization options for most Atlassian products stop short of their potential...

yes that does capture the request. I noted there were only 2 vote/watchers so others that desire this might want to up-vote it. There might be similar requests out there w/ more vote.

For sure. I didn't come across any using a string search of "portal branding", but there could be others (though I didn't see any duplicates or links on that issue, which I would think there would be...).
