How to see closed Issues in Scrum Board

Oliver Wendt January 27, 2019

Hello,

we don't find a way to see closed issues inside a Scrum board. We were searching for almost two weeks and we don't find an answer.

YYou can See there the Column "Fertig", which consists of "Geschlossen" (that are closed issues) and "Fertig" (that are finished or solved issues i suspect, but not closed).

Is there a way to show the closed issues in the column "fertig"?

Hallo @Oliver Wendt,

As the status "Fertig" says... there are no issues with this status, but only issue which have status "Geschlossen".

Please make a JQL search like ... project = XXX(project that u have the board) and status = "Fertig" and see how many issues you have with this status in this specific project.

If there are 0 ... then its logical nothing to be represented

Best regards

CM

Hallo @Christos Moysiadis,

thanks for your reply.

As you can see in the Picture, in the Column "Fertig" are two possible issues which can be shown: The Issue "Fertig" inside the column named "Fertig" doesn't have processes. But there are also ~330 Issues of the category "Geschlossen" inside the column "Fertig", which could be shown.

With the JQL Search there are no "Geschlossen" Issues in the backlog.

I think, closed issued aren't shown in the backlog and scrum board by default?

Lets make it simplier.

The project has some issues and this issues have a status.
The project has this board which is correct configured.

Inside the Column(Fertig), you have statuses! And this column then shows issues with these statuses.

The problem is that the issues of this specific project are in status = geschlossen and not in status = fertig and thats why you see under the status = fertig the note : keine vorgänge.

I think also that you misunderstand the Column name with the status name. Column holds any status that you want.

You say also: The Issue "Fertig" inside the column named "Fertig" doesn't have processesIt's not an issue... it is an issue with status = fertig

About the second part... Its logical i thing, not having a geschlossen issue in Backlog section , because its geschlossen/fertig/finished. Backlog is at the beginning of the production lane.

A thing todo. Study the workflow of the project and see how the process flows. Then you will understand easier the board part and the presentation of the issues.

Best regards from Germany too :)

PS. If my advices are not understandable, then i can not help anymore, sorry :/

Hi everyone,

let me rephrase the issue:

We are mixing the default jira workflow with a custom workflow in a single project. Statuses from the two workflows are named differently and are therefore not always shown on the scrum board.

We would like to use the scrum boards with more then one workflow. Maybe there is a way to add new columns to the scrum board and giving it a JQL query like in the kanban boards?

If this is not possible, is there a chance that this will be implemented in a future release? We feel a bit restricted here as we would have to give up either our custom workflows or the use of the scrum features...

Best Regards!
