I am after the integration of the Change Process from the Service Desk to the Jira tool where we plan a release and the developers track their work. At the moment we create two tickets for the same thing and cross reference them, but its very inefficient - how can I transfer a Change Request from the Service Desk to the Jira Tool?

Jira Service Desk issues can easily be moved into Jira Software projects for development, just as they are moved between Jira Software projects. But when a Jira Service Desk ticket is moved to Jira Software, it no longer has any Jira Service Desk features. The User can create an issue in Jira Service Desk and link it to another issue in Jira Software and vice versa. To create, link and move Jira Service Desk issues into Jira Software projects or vice versa, see our blog on creating linked issues.
