I know that there is a DB statistics on the System Info page that allows to get number of issues created in Jira Server.
Is there any way to get such info in Jira Cloud?
if you just want to know the total number of issues in your instance you could JQL with something like ---
project is not EMPTY
Hi Jack,
thank you for your response, but problem is that if I don't have browser permissions in some projects I won't see that issues in issue browser, so total number of issues will be wrong.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
if you don't have permissions then you will not be able to accomplish. I would suggest that you have your system admin run it for you. if you need this ongoing then have them save and share the filter. then build a dashboard and use the "Filter counts" gadget.

Jack,
does site admin necessarily have browse project permissions in each project?
Some of the projects might have custom permissions scheme so that not all the users (including site or jira admin) might be able to see the issues in issue browser. Thus issues from the projects that are not visible for users won't be counted towards overall number of issues.
Additionally if Jira has lets say 100 projects it is not really convenient to go over all the projects and check if user has browse issue permissions.
That's why it is really convenient to have such DB statistics as Jira server has.

the system admin would be able to query all issues on all projects w/o having to have permissions set up at project level.
