How to create time bucket for issues?

The requirement is to have a time bucket using Two Dimensional Filter Statistics with XAxis = server date - log creation date and YAxis = Status. I have difficulties to create XAxis. Please advise.

You will need a bit of code to do this.

The code will need to read each issue for "server date - log creation date" and record it as a value in a select-list type field, so that the gadget can read it.
