Hello All,

This is related to configured Organization setup for my JSD project. We set-up this organization for cross visibility of raised tickets but issue is that all members of this organization gets notifications for all updates. We wanted to stop those notifications.

Please suggest.

Regards,
Vishal

Hello @Vishal Kochhar,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When a ticket is shared with an Organization, customers on the Org will receive only one notification informing them that it was shared and for them to receive further notifications, they need to go to the portal and click on “Get notifications”.

If members of the organization are receiving notifications for comments, status changed, for example, then it’s necessary to confirm with them if they did go to the portal and clicked on “Get notifications” or if maybe the reporter also added them as participants. Participants do receive all notifications when they are added to a ticket.

In case you don’t want members of the organization to receive notifications, please, go to Project settings > Customer notifications > Click on “Edit” for Organization added and disable it by unchecking the option below:

After that, save the changes and for new tickets, customers of the organization won’t be notified if a ticket is shared with them.

Kind regards,
Angélica
