How to assign a responsible?

Lluís López November 20, 2019

I would like all the incidents that are opened in a Service Desk project to be addressed to a specific person.

I have the problem that appears to me as that user is deleted and clearly not. Attachment Capture when I want to add responsible for the incident.

Can you help me? Thanks

Hello Lluís,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

If the user you are trying to add is showing correctly on the list and on Administration, maybe this issue is related to permission.

Can you please confirm if this is a licensed Service Desk user? They should be part of the default group that gives access to Service Desk, usually is jira-servicedesk-users.

Also, check if the user is part of the role Service Desk Team.

Please, give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Angélica

Thank you! Now I can do it. It was the subject of the permission you commented that he did not have.

On the other hand, the emails I receive for each ticket, is there any way that only that person receives them?

I'm glad that it's working!

About the notifications, do you receive notifications for each ticket that it's created?

If so, you can remove this on Project settings > Notifications. On this page, you can see who receives notification for issue created. By default, it's All watchers, Current assignee, and Reporter.
