I have created and deployed a service desk using the default "IT service desk template".
I would like to create my own custom fields to add into the default service request type but can not seem to find where to add.
For example:
I have created a request type and used the default "service request", click on edit fields. This is where I would like to add a custom field but do not understand how to add into the main platform to be seen in the drop down menu. I only want this custom field visible in my project without screwing up other service desks.
I do have Administrative privileges to my user and the entire system.

You have to make sure that the field is available for the issue type screen. Is it something you checked?
