How do I organize my articles in my service desk portal?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I've included a screenshot of my service desk portal. I understand how to customize the look and feel of it however I can't figure out how to arrange my confluence articles into nice categories. They just list down in a column. I've searched the documentation and I can't figure it out. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great!
