I have issue in group notification
I created Group of users that need to be Notified in a project when issue in certain phase or issue status updated or moved from phase to phase. I made the Following
1- defined email notification schema for this project
2- create group and add the required users
3- modified this schema to send to this group in many events issue created, updated ...etc
the issue email not received I try the following
1- to send email to this group from jira system>>mail >> send email >> select group and send test and is received
2- I checked notification helper and it show attached but email not received
Iam using Datacenter version
any help please
It seems you have everything setup correctly. I would recommend the following:
1)Follow-up with your IT team handles to the email exchanges operation to ensure there are nothing blocking the system notifications emails from Jira.
2)Ensure members of your specific group don't have any filtering in his/her email client end that auto-moves the system notifications emails from Jira to some specific folders etc.
3)Ensure that issue assignee, issue watchers, and issue reporter are receiving the the appropriate notifications as defined in the notification scheme. This will allow you to determine if the issue is only related to your group setup or not.

thanks for your reply and below is my reply in order
1-there is not blocking as there is many other emails received
2- there is no filtering configure plus I already send email to this group from Jira itself and it is received (system>>mail >> send email >> select group and send test and is received )
3- issue assignee, issue watchers, and issue reporter emails are received normally
Is there away to check triggered emails from Jira as there is only failed ones

How can I see the error message ( the reason) of error queue

You may need to contact Atlassian Support with support zip files for them to look into the issue further (https://support.atlassian.com).
In regards to the Error queue, if there are no entries in the queue, there is nothing can be reviewed.

what is the different between Customer notification and notification schema

Customer Notification is designed for JSM project (additional customization) only. Notification is the system notification based on issue events.
