Google connections doesn't work for incoming mail configuration

Hello I m trying to connect a gmail mailbox in incoming mail with Jira, but I receive an error when i try to test the connection:

I think to insert all correct data in the configuration:

Protocol	POP
Host Name	pop.gmail.com
POP / IMAP Port	995
Timeout (ms)	10000
Username	test
Authentication method	Password (basic authentication)

Like Username I insert google name, I tried also with the mail, I insert the gmail psw, I think that everything is correct, I tried also with IMAP protocol but I receive always the same error:

Unfortunately no connection was possible. Review the errors below and rectify:

• AuthenticationFailedException: Read timed out
  
  
  

So I can't understand what I wrong.
