In order to change the project email address to send notifications using an address of a domain you own, it's necessary to verify the domain.

For all the steps if how to configure it, please check the documentation below:

• Configuring Jira Cloud to send emails on behalf of your domain

Note that, it's possible to do that only on Classic Jira Service Desk projects. For next-gen, this option is not available at the moment:

• Outgoing email address configuration
