Email request from unregistered user

Hi there and thanks to anyone can help me,

we are setting up a jira service desk portal, and we have the following requirement:

  • only registered customers can access to portal and see their own tickets;
  • non registered customers can open a ticket sending an e-mail to jira SD, but they wont have an account until we don't decide to register them.
  • non registered customer cannot access to portal in any way;
  • customer and not customer send their request to the same e-mail address.

how can implement that in service desk?

We try a solution using e-mail handler that manage non registered customers combined email puller for registerd ones. The problem is that the puller delete all the mails from inbox alsto also ones coming from non registered users. Because of that many request from unregistered customer are loss and we have to re-add them manually.

How can I solve the problem?

Hello,

You should create a email handler in the Jira Service Desk project. Do not use system email handlers.

You can find more info here:

thank you, but that solution does not fit; because that way I have to register each single customer (manually or automatically).

Thanks any way
