Email Notification when number of issues with a specific request type passes a specific threshold.

Deleted user October 22, 2019

Hi Everyone

I have a service desk in JIRA, we separate issues by request type to allow us to gather metrics on what we are spending our time on each month.

Is it possible to have JIRA send us an email when the number of issues with a specific request type passes a certain thresh-hold each month.

IE - Once we get 10 keyboard requests in a month, it sends an email (ideally with a custom title or body.)

And once we get 15 license requests in a month it sends an email (ideally with a different title or body from the above request.)

Many thanks

David.

Hi David,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

I'm afraid this option is not available. I've checked the automation and the Automation for Jira add-on, but there is nothing that would count the number of tickets depending on the keywords.

You can create queues filtering by the keywords, but it won't generate notifications, so it's necessary to always check the queue.

There is no feature request suggesting this option, so please, feel free to raise a feature request on jira.atlassian.com (project JSDCLOUD) adding more information and details about why this feature is important for your environment.

Regards,
Angélica
