Hi, We created the user portal from which we can raise incident by filling incident details, now we want to add the Cc field so that the email ID which will be added will get an email.
Now the custom field only holds the mail ID as a string but how to add deliver the email Inbox to Cc person. Whether there is any need to adding participants in JIRA.

The user picker custom field is used only to select a user/customer on a ticket, this field does not generate a notification for the person that is selected. The only user picker fields that do generate a notification on Service Desk are participants and approvers and currently, the field Participants is not available to add on the create issue screen, with that said, after creating a request, the customer must add the participant clicking on Share and selecting the person.
We have a feature request suggesting the ability to add participant while creating a ticket:
