Is it possible to customize and implement API calls into the custom portal (similar to application links)? We setup our Service Desk an application link with confluence and noticed the search queries can pull articles from confluence.
We want to setup our customer portal to pull data from a remote database through API in real time and display it in custom fields, announcements and etc.
There are alternative solutions such as installing an inventory plugin to store data in the jira server but the data will not be real time. We do not prefer the idea to keep redundant data in Jira and our databases
